Dr. Christopher Opdahl graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The University of Michigan (the #1 rated Dental school in the nation by various university rankings and “topuniversities.com”).  He and his family, including wife and 5 children, moved to Tillamook in 2010, where he teamed with Dr. Edgar Shiroma to form Tillamook Bay Dental.  What makes your experience here different?  You not only get the best care possible, but Dr. Opdahl focuses on being efficient and keeping your appointments as short as possible.  His team’s mission is to improve your oral health and overall quality of life through exceptional patient centered care.

Jodee McGowan has been with us since 2005 and Wendy Cisneros since 2019.  They keep our office running smoothly and will greet you at the front desk with a smile.  Both have extensive experience with billing and dealing with dental insurance companies.

Our highly skilled Oral Hygienists: Kirsten Malcom RDH, has been with us since 2011, Amy Lindsey RDH, since 2019 and Danielle Gardner RDH, who also grew up in Tillamook, since 2015.  Their first priority is to listen and understand your needs and concerns, while making you feel relaxed and comfortable at every visit.  They work with Dr. Opdahl to provide you the best care possible specific to your individual needs.

Our exceptional Dental Assistants, all native to Tillamook:  Magan Rawe EFDA, has been with us since 2004, Lisa Hayden EFDA, since 2019, Carol Averill EFDA, since 1997, and Tanya Lea CDA, EFDA, since 2000.  While assisting Dr. Opdahl, they also contribute to our friendly atmosphere and assure our accomodations are comfortable and our service exceptional.  They, along with all the staff here, hope to serve you and your family for generations to come.
